Akira and Ryo grow tension later on because Ryo cares little for innocent lives getting caught in the crossfire of his war and Akira cares for all people equally and cries when innocent lives die. Eventually tensions grow so high that they fight each other and Ryo reveals that his true form as the Devil himself and kills Akira, the only person he ever cared for.
The Unburdened Boy
Driving home in a car that his parents paid for he was feeling carefree, he was smart, his grades were good, he did not have a care in the world. His car was a brand new Lexus that he got from a local dealership, when he got home, his car door was opened by Dunlop, his butler, and he asked him how his day was, the boy replied with, “Ehh… it was easy, private school bores me.” His house was huge, the house was on 5 acres of land, and it was new, modern, and clean. It was in the rich part of the town. He opened the door to smell his mothers food in the process of being cooked. He said hello to her, inquired about what was for dinner, and then went to a side house that they had made purely for entertainment. He played Bloodbourne on PS4 until his mom finished dinner. When he went back into the main house his father had gotten home, he was the mayor of the outer city they lived in. His mom was self employed and she was an accountant of sorts. His parents already had enough money to send him to college without him paying anything. So he never thought about getting a job or working. His life was simple and he just had to worry about school.
After an enjoyable meal at the dinner table with his family he went back into the side house he finished his homework in a small amount of time. He was a straight A student who devoted most of his time to school. When he wasn’t at school he would hang out with friends or play video games. The smart TV in the side house read 7:32 P.M., not having anything else to do he decided to hotbox his side house. His butler came in to check in on him, realized what was happening and decided to join in. They sat together not doing what they were supposed to be doing and eating too much food for what seemed like to them for hours. He checked the clock again in between episodes of The Red Comet, the clock now read 10:07. He was tired and realized he had tests the next day in AP Physics and AP Astronomy. He liked science and because he went to a private school he had more freedom in class choice. He fell asleep easily ready to start the next day.
He was awoken by his butler at 7:15 A.M. so he could get to school. He stumbled into the shower and cleaned his sticky body. He came out feeling fresh but still mentally deprived, so he went into the fridge that he kept in his room, which was filled with various dietary supplements and antioxidant drinks. He drank a body cleanser and put a focus enhancing drink in his backpack for school. On his way he dropped his little brother off at the middle school and decided to skip first period. It was the religious period of his school and he was an atheist so he normally wouldn’t go. He hung out with his friends before school. They decided to go to a local establishment nearby. When they walked in the cashier at the time welcomed them and took their orders. When he got to the cashier he stared at the worker in the eye and he sensed something familiar, like they were similar people but grew up very differently so they were bound to not like each other. his friends ate the food and left the restaurant to go to class.
Picture Day
When I went to go get my driver’s permit they had to take a photo for it. Mind you that we woke up very early to drive to the Pflugerville center because it is a super center so you can get in and out of it faster. So, still dazed from waking up early I looked into the camera, forgot to smile, was angry because I had been sitting in one of their chairs trying to sleep but was continually disturbed by the mechanical voice calling numbers out. So I looked straight into the depths of the camera lens showing absolutely no expression, and the photo that they took looked like I had been writing a bunch of hot checks and just got caught for them **cough cough** *Coach Budai* **cough cough** , and now I’m stuck with it; however it does come in handy when I want to scare freshman because not only do people who can drive scare them, but they always fear a face that shows absolutely no expression, so I just make a game out of it at the beginning of the year and see how many of them I can freak out.

Commentary Assignment
Quote: “Ten o’clock. The sun came out from behind the rain. The house stood alone in a city of rubble and ashes”
This quote shows how even though everything else that humanity made was gone, time still ticked on. I think the author was trying to show that most of humanities creations will die with it, except time. All people use time one way or another everyday, whether it is broad or very specific. Time is used by the entire human race, it is its most important creation, and it will survive past its creators.
A Burdened Boy
After a long day at school and work the teenager was driving home in his car, it was a car he got when his grandmother passed when he was 15, it was a Toyota Corolla. His car had 188,000 miles on it when he got it, but by now it had already passed 200,000 miles; however he loved the car because it had a unique personality, like him. His car was blue, although the paint was faded and it had miscellaneous scratches and dents all around it. Once he got home he breathed the fresh air, he was wearing a pair of jeans that he got as a gift from his mother, shoes that he took from a friends house, and a cheap t-shirt. It was just another day for him. He got home before his mother, who worked for a local nonprofit organization in the city. Even though it was just them, the best house they could afford was a small home in a half decent suburb in a more wealthy outer-city. The house had 2 main features, a small living room and a couple bedrooms connected by a hallway. He walked through the front door which creaked every time it moved. His dog was asleep but immediately woke up when she heard the faint sound of the door, for she was old, older than he was and could not hear or see very well. He helped his dog outside, then he realized he was hungry, so he walked to their fridge to look for food. Realizing that the only food in the fridge was water and old leftovers, he went to their pantry. He opened the door only to find stale chips, some rice, and a couple cans of various vegetables. He did not want any of the food they had so he let his dog back inside and went to his room. He lived in a 10 x 10 foot room. The room was very messy with clothes strewn around his floor because he has not had enough time to clean it. His room encompassed a small twin bed that when he laid down his feet would touch the frame, a desk that was cluttered so he barely worked there, and a dresser that was falling apart. At that point he then realized that he had work tomorrow. He worked at a local fast food chain in order to help pay for bills and put some money in the bank so he could go to college without being in debt for the better half of his life. He went to the bathroom to shave and wash his face, afterward he stood looking at himself in the mirror. He was an average height, skinny and had worn out facial features probably because of the lack of sleep he had been getting the last few nights. When he stepped outside he realized his mother had gotten home. He said hello, inquired about what dinner would be that night, she replied with, “I don’t know, but I’ll call you when food is ready. I still need to go to the grocery store but I haven’t the time or money right now.” He sighed and then disappeared back into his room. He crashed onto his bed hearing the springs croak when he laid down and checked his phone. His phone was old and cracked, therefore it did not work very well; however he was fine with this because he knew that if he wanted a new phone he would have to pay for it himself. He watched Netflix on his phone and found himself asleep soon after.
He woke up around 7 P.M. in a hot sweat, while he was annoyed by this but he knew that he couldn’t make it cooler because they didn’t have enough money to keep it cool in the house. He rolled out of bed smelling food. His mother had just finished reheating lasagna from last night. They had a dining room that connected with the kitchen and the living area. In total this space was maybe 20 feet long and 15 wide. Instead of eating at the table, they ate on the couch they bought at Goodwill while watching a a show on their tv, which they had inherited from her parents when they moved into the city. They couldn’t afford cable so they watched Netflix instead by connecting her computer using an HDMI cable, while they enjoyed leftovers. They watched a show called The Red Comet, it was about an ex-con who was in a freak accident and was given enhanced speed and senses, although instead of living his former life, he decided to change his morals and walk a better path by fighting crime. After the show was over he went back to his room to do homework. He liked to stay on top of his homework despite not having very much. His task was to write an essay for conveying certain type of mood, he chose to write about someone who had more money than him, but was still unhappy with what he had. He chose to write about this because he is content with what he has and gets angry when people who are more fortunate than him are unsatisfied with what they have. After he finished the essay he checked his phone and saw three notifications: one was for school reminding him to write the essay, the other two were from his girlfriend, Mary. Mary lived in a neighborhood like his but 10 minutes away, she was the spawn of divorced parents, same as him, but she lived with her dad mostly, who had more money. He called her and they talked about their day for a while when he yawned. He checked the clock, it read 10:42. Remembering he had a long day ahead of him he decided he was going to hang up and get some sleep. After brushing his teeth and using the bathroom he tried to flush the toilet. When he did so it slowly filled with water and then vanished, not working how it should. This was normal for his bathroom, for the toilet broke a while back and he spent a couple hours to fixing it; despite fixing the issue at the time it started to work slowly and less efficiently. He walked back to his room, which was down the hall on the left side, on the way he passed his brother’s room. It was very cluttered with random things that normal people don’t use. His brother was a hoarder who used the room for storage. He lived at their father’s house which was far away so he could go to the local college there. He rarely visited, for he was very busy as well. As he passed the room he thought about his father, who he hadn’t seen in years. His father was a drunken man who retired many years ago and spent his money on unsalted chips and bourbon. He knew that his father had recently gotten another divorce but he didn’t really know his step mom and only met her once at the wedding. That was the last time he saw his father; however he was satisfied with it because they never got along very well. He went back to his room and decided to listen to a playlist on Spotify that consisted mostly of Mos Def, Jimi Hendrix, and The Wu-Tang Clan. He fell asleep quickly because he was very tired from his week so far.
The next morning he woke up feeling more tired than normal, he had determined that this was because he hadn’t gotten much sleep the last couple nights and actually rested well, making his body actually acknowledge how tired he was. He stumbled into the shower and thought about what he had to do today: go to school, take an AP physics test, go to PE, then leave school early to go to work. Because he was a senior at his high school he had off campus, so he only had two classes a day. He was smart despite being economically disadvantaged, so he took advanced level classes. He packed his backpack, which was battered from being used for years, and threw it into his car to do it all over again today.

Fellowship of the Rings Houses
J.R. R. Tolkien created a universe with many different types of species, the best one being the elf. The elves are immortal creatures who love poetry and the arts and they are excellent fighters, but do not fight often; for they value life and peace more than power and sacrifice. I would choose to live among in the city Caras Galadhon. Caras Galadhon is an elvish city with vast trees stretching for miles around, covered in a dense forest the city is elevated, constructed as tree houses in the great trees. The city is constructed all of wood with long bridges and vast staircases spiraling and branching off of each tree. My home would be small and be completely wooden, but still very smooth to the touch, due to such refined construction and choice of the wood. I would decorate my home with various weapons, weird elvish style furniture, and various paintings of the beauty of Middle Earth. My house would be open with windows and sky roofs so the smell of the crisp, clean air could flow freely throughout my home creating a natural air flow inside my home. I would keep a supply of various comfort foods in case any hobbits came to visit me it would taste of fresh bread, aged cheese, but I would also keep traditional elvish food to ease my immortal appetite. One would always feel free in my home due to its interior design, the sound of elvish music, which is tranquil and has many instruments all in harmony playing beautiful notes, filling my home with the sound of my people.
TDEC Explained
T typically stands for thesis. This is usually a sentence making a claim that will be explained and everything will circle back too at the end of the essay. This sentence can be about anything and is usually tentative because once you start writing you may need to change your claim to fit the rest of the essay.
D stands for Detail. This is usually used as one or more quotes. The detail is purely logic based and is just stating facts from the book.
E stands for Elaboration. The elaboration is using logic to expand on the quote or explain what is happening before the quote. The elaboration should enshroud the detail and weave through it seamlessly.
C stands for Commentary. This is emotional expanding on the detail. The commentary is where you give your opinion of what the author is trying to convey based off of what you know logically.
Why We Study English
I do not know why we study English with so much depth in school, but I have enjoyed English class depending on my teacher. For example, in 6th and 7th grade I loved English because I loved my teacher; however in 8th grade English was my least favorite class because my teacher was awful. For the most part in my experiences, I study English because the state of Texas requires it and if it were up to me I would still read and write, but it would not be as structured and be more enjoyable. Most of the time in my English class we have spent studying the Holocaust, reading books I did not want to read, or doing TDECs, a structured form of writing that I have never used unless forced. I love reading and writing but I have not loved the way it has been taught in public schools, but I am looking forward to English 2 because this year the teaching style is going to be different and I would love to see where that takes me in the future, although I would assume we study English because language is connected to all knowledge so the better we know the language we use the smarter we can be individually and as a whole.
